In the last few days I’ve seen a surge in people asking here about why the need for VPN and how to go about getting one. How to Test if PIA VPN is working properly on Kodi. In order to check if PIA VPN is working properly with Kodi, you can perform a simple leak test. Here’s what you’ll need to do: 1. Open Kodi and click on the Add-ons menu. 2. Scroll down and click on ‘Download’ 3. Click on Program Add-ons from the list. 4. I have managed to set it up on my pi2 running openelec. I have it configured it to connect to my choose PIA server on startup. You can also set up using advanced program launcher add on for kodi, so you can disconnect the VPN or choose to connect to different servers (London, U.S. East etc) without having to use SSH each time.

I already have “How To Set Up Your VPN Client” article from Brian Hornsby, but was a little confused as it refers to Raspbmc and OpenELEC rather than OSMC, and wasn’t sure if this would work for OSMC. I will have good slow look through this as it looks a bit complicated to me (a non expert)! I also have looked at the following link and can’t decide if this is a workable solution.
